Yoga Alliance RYT Hatha/Vinyasa Flow
I went to my first Yoga class with my dear friend Patty, taught by Judiann Cesta.
First I was only interested in the physical challenge. As I became more familiar with the poses I discovered meditation with movement and the profound benefits of relaxation.
I became a dedicated student with the quest to learn more about the true teachings of Yoga. I finished a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course @ East Street Yoga Studio.
I continue to share my passion for the practice of Yoga through teaching and attending various workshops.

Amy was a trained and avid runner until the birth of her twin boys in 2001. Diagnosed with osteopenia of the hips she was advised to seek other options for exercise and not to run. Amy sought out an exercise that incorporated mind-body connection and allowed Amy to feel the high she got as a runner... Welcome to yoga! Since 2001 Amy has been a dedicated student and has trained with instructors in Syracuse and in New York City. She spent time learning the Astanga series and Vinyasa Flow sequences from her teachers. In 2008, Amy completed her 200 hour teacher training program which was affiliated with Yoga Alliance under the guidance of Judiann Cesta at East Street Yoga studio in Skaneateles, NY. She has also attended various Power Yoga workshops and Meditation workshops on the healing of the Chakras.
Amy incorporates proper alignment into all her classes as she is recovering from a serious car accident that left her barely able to walk or do yoga in November 2008. As she has been healing from the accident, Amy has learned a great deal about the spine, alignment, and anatomy which she now brings into her classes. In addition to teaching yoga, Amy is a consultant who focuses on helping individuals and college students understand how to be prepared for job interviews in this challenging job market. She is also a single Mother to 8 year old twin boys who do yoga and mediation with her on a regular basis.

Amy Flynn started taking yoga with Judiann Cesta in 2003. She found her first yoga class surprisingly challenging yet deeply calming. As she continued her practice under Judiann's guidance, the tensions and emotions held in her body were released. As the weeks turned into months and months into years, feelings of balance, happiness and a profound sense of peace came to light. Her practice gave her the strength and personal power to change the direction of her life.
Amy completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Judiann not only to deepen her own practice, but to teach so that others may realize the benefits and rewards of a yoga practice. She continues to attend workshops, yoga classes and seminars for personal growth and to expand her teachings.
